1 out of 5 stars Best when not purchased.   August 30, 2010
Mark Spencer Burbey (Albany, CA)
This thing sucked right out of the box. How many ways did it suck? In every way, because it didn't work. By that I mean, none of the buttons made anything happen. I thought maybe I'd just gotten a bad one, but googling my problem yielded many people stating they had the same problem. Those who actually got it working, said the actual transfering of LPs to CDs was a fiasco, making more coasters than CDs. Forget it. Look into a USB record player, instead, because this thing is a hunk of crap, and it weighs a ton.

4 out of 5 stars As Advertised   August 19, 2010

After much research for a unit to play my vinyl on and to record my cd collection to Mp3 I found this unit on Amazon. After finding all the reviews I could I decided to purchase the item. It came as all the reviews described - the outer box was very abused but the inner box containing the player was fine. The sound is not the greatest but the machine does what it is supposed to do. It is easy to use with simple instructions and nothing else to purchase. Real problem was Fedex delivering it to someone else's house and leaving me their vitamins, just as I left on vacation. It was waiting when I returned from vacation.

Very hard to follow directions {incomplete instructions ?} Also the unit was incomplete, I had to buy additional parts which I did not expect to do.I simply wanted to record L.P s to C D s, and I found this unit not to be complete for this purpose.

4 out of 5 stars Record Player   May 15, 2010

Pretty good record player. Of course you are not going to get the sound of a big system, but it is good for me. I live in a apartment and the sound will not bother the neighbors, like a big sound system.

4 out of 5 stars Great little product   December 23, 2009

I researched so many products for copying my records and tapes. This unit did it all at a reasonable price. It's not recording studio quality, but old albums, 45's, even 78's played just fine. I was happy to copy my cassettes and listen to cd's or record to them. The USB and SD feature is great. I can plug in my MP3 player and listen to music for hours. It has a cute design, and I love the timer feature as well. The arm on the phono player doesnt stop at the end of the record though. But I'm very happy with this radio so far.
