| Customer Reviews: A nice toy.... and i mean it! February 25, 2010 John Swenson (massachusetts usa) Have been waiting and watching and after my first use, download to the computer, and mp3 file creation, I'm happy enough to recommend this product.
br /
br /For under a hundred bucks the quality seems great. The manual for setup of the system and software is well done with step by step pictures.
br /
br /I have mine connected to both the computer and external speakers. I'm able to listen to the music while recording thru the external speakers and listen to playback of the downloaded music thru head phones on the computer.
br /
br /the software has lots of options to play with. but the basic " push the red button to record " and file save as and file export, get the job done to make your albums digital.
Good Product for the Price December 31, 2009 Steve (NJ) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I just purchased this product and have used it for the last two days, so I can not comment on the longevity of the product. I have it hooked up to a receiver (two speakers and a sub) via the RCA jacks and the preamp turned on. The sound quality is good especially for the price. I have not tried out the USB connection to a computer. The turntable was easy to assemble (need to install belt and platter) and setup. It's easy to use, just put the record on and press start. I am now enjoying my old vinyl. Just make sure you clean your records!
Bundled with free software = higher price December 18, 2009 Kuru (Seattle) 2 out of 7 found this review helpful
Purchasers should be aware that the bundled Audacity software is free direct from its writers. Thus hard to justify the higher price charged here, against the non-bundled alternative.
